Sandpiper Promenade is a painting that shows sandpipers at the edge of the surf running along. The seashore is a wonderful birding paradise, perfect to see beautiful ocean birds at the edge of the shoreline. This beach scene shows many sandpipers running up the edge of the surf. The painting is done in a warm yellow, and fits in nicely in beach decor.
I've been painting the coast since I could first hold a crayon at my Grandmother's beach hotel in Ocean City, New Jersey. I grew up with an artist mother and a father who went fishing on his boat every weekend. I worked for many years in the corporate world as an editor and illustrator. Now I spend most of my time painting around the marshes and sandy locales on my Florida island. I'm an award-winning artist and sell my work online and through several prominent galleries.
