This painting of a rocky beach is a close-up of black beach stones, a scallop shell, and some pink seashells in amongst the round beach rocks. I've been painting the coast since I could first hold a crayon at my Grandmother's beach hotel in Ocean City, New Jersey. I grew up with an artist mother and a father who went fishing on his boat every weekend. I worked for many years in the corporate world as an editor and illustrator.
