This is a still life painting of a cupcake and a fork, shown from directly opposite of the sweet treat. Hard to resist - going out for lunch and seeing this lucious treat under the glass case by the register. But before I ate, I painted, and my mouth was watering the whole time.

I've been painting the coast since I could first hold a crayon at my Grandmother's beach hotel in Ocean City, New Jersey. I grew up with an artist mother and a father who went fishing on his boat every weekend. I worked for many years in the corporate world as an editor and illustrator.
