It's a beach day - a wonderful beach day with lots of beautiful water to play in, and a world of beach sand to find seashells, sculpt sandcastles, and just laze in the sun. The little girl is playing in the beach sand, just moving around the seashells and making little castles.
I've been painting the coast since I could first hold a crayon at my Grandmother's beach hotel in Ocean City, New Jersey. I grew up with an artist mother and a father who went fishing on his boat every weekend. I worked for many years in the corporate world as an editor and illustrator. Now I spend most of my time painting around the marshes and sandy locales on my Florida island. I'm an award-winning artist and sell my work online and through several prominent galleries.
