This painting of a rocky beach is a close-up of black beach stones, a scallop shell, and some pink seashells in amongst the round beach rocks. The little stones are stunning, and this gift makes a wonderful idea for something special for the person in your life who loves to beach comb on rocky shorelines to fine shell treasures hiding in the little round rocks. The rock design looks great for home decor that's close to nature. The rocky beach rock and seashell painting is based on the painting called "Stone Beach Scallop" by Florida artist Mary Hubley.
I've been painting the coast since I could first hold a crayon at my Grandmother's beach hotel in Ocean City, New Jersey. I grew up with an artist mother and a father who went fishing on his boat every weekend. I worked for many years in the corporate world as an editor and illustrator. Now I spend most of my time painting around the marshes and sandy locales on my Florida island. I'm an award-winning artist and sell my work online and through several prominent galleries.
