This street scene of Aviles Street in St. Augustine, Florida shows the Fatio House, one of the oldest Spanish Colonial homes in the U.S. The old Spanish street is lined with cobbles, and the houses are from the 1500s, when the Spanish owned Florida.
I've been painting the coast since I could first hold a crayon at my Grandmother's beach hotel in Ocean City, New Jersey. I grew up with an artist mother and a father who went fishing on his boat every weekend. I worked for many years in the corporate world as an editor and illustrator. Now I spend most of my time painting around the marshes and sandy locales on my Florida island. I'm an award-winning artist and sell my work online and through several prominent galleries.
